The Aquashella Clownfish Contest is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to showcase the vibrance, variety, and creativity of one of the aquarium hobby’s most iconic fish. Unlike traditional competitions, clownfish are entered not only as pairs, but also as stunning clownfish balls—groups of fish that display harmony, health, and striking visual appeal.
This contest highlights every aspect of what makes clownfish so special: brilliant coloration, unique stripe patterns, overall health, and the innovative hybrid strains that aquaculturists have worked tirelessly to develop. From classic Ocellaris and Percula to rare designer morphs, every entry tells a story of dedication, breeding skill, and passion for the hobby.
The event is open to aquaculturists of all levels, welcoming both seasoned professionals and passionate hobbyists to compete on equal footing. Whether you’re refining your own strain in a breeding facility or caring for a beloved pair at home, the Clownfish Contest offers the chance to have your fish recognized on a national stage.
With entries judged for both beauty and husbandry excellence, the Aquashella Clownfish Contest is more than a competition—it’s a celebration of the artistry, innovation, and joy of clownfish keeping.
Entries will be displayed in 20 gallon all-in-one aquariums provided by our contest sponsors with proper heating, circulation and filtration to ensure their continued health during the two days of the show. Entries will receive instructions by email from the contest organizer with details as to how to submit their contest entries, where, when, etc.
